We are a ministry of Cherokee United Methodist Church, providing a safe, loving, Christian environment for pre-school aged children at a reasonable price.  We do this through the use of developmentally appropriate curriculum that is both theme- and Christian-based.  This curriculum is in every class from Nursery I through the Four Year old class.  Through this curriculum the children are given a chance to explore, experiment, and create in a safe, nurturing atmosphere.  Our goal is that when they leave us, these children will be kindergarten-ready.

We believe that self-esteem is the critical component to optimal growth in a young child. We strive to develop their self-esteem through social interaction, mental awareness, self-discovery, physical coordination and spiritual growth.  We hope that when they leave here they will be ready for their next steps in life.  Eddie Brittain is our daycare director; he can be reached at 423-929-0769.
