 Coalition For Kids

Cherokee Church is very excited to be partnering with Coalition for Kids and providing a location for Club Amistades.  Amistades is an extension of their Awesome Kids Club after school tutoring/mentoring program.  Club Amistades is designed especially for the Spanish speaking community of Washington county, but the program is not limited to only Spanish speaking students.  Amistades meets each day after school, with Coalition for Kids picking up students at Cherokee Elementary School. Once the kids arrive at Cherokee they are provided with a snack, a loving and safe environment to receive help with homework, as well as other enrichment activities and Bible Study.  We are very excited to offer this opportunity to these students and look forward to developing relationships with them and their families.

For more information about this program, please contact Hannah Garst at Coalition for Kids.  434-2031.
